Save the sea turtles website project

The project that I worked on is a website for a fictional concert, that is meant to bring awareness to save the sea turtles. The theme for the design comps is based on a rock festival that is geared not only towards the younger crowd but also the environmental conscious audience.To entice large crowds to support bands that promote worthy causes, the site is designed to appeal to the music genre and targeted audience.
Moodboard
The mood board was created using references of concerts that emphasize energy, much like Vans Warped Tour or Ozzfest festivals that are geared towards a larger targeted audience. Using texture like denim and rust to related to the feel of the music. The use of silhouettes was added to emphasize the mood and feel of the site, and also makes it easy to reproduce the same feeling of the brand throughout promotional material beyond the website.
Wireframes
The wireframes and comps came from using the mood board as the reference point for the design to develop. I knew in some basic form all the design elements that I wanted to be a part of the site. Through some exploration, the design started to feel somewhat overwhelmed with elements and too busy for site visitors to navigate. The comps started to be more streamlined as I made the site obvious for the audience to go through.
The logo concepts for the concert that started with an exploration of shapes and exploration of different concepts. In the end, something simple yet easy to cross media was chosen in order to explore further.
The motion graphic of the logo that combined different techniques to make it flow in an organic way.
The video for the concert that combined images, clips, sound, and motion graphic in order to achieve a short promo for the fictional concert.
